ANAHEIM, Calif., January 19, 2008—NAMM held its Annual Meeting of Members today during the 2008 NAMM Show. After introducing past presidents in attendance, reviewing the new annual report and recapping highlights of the year, Chairman Chip Averwater called for the nomination of the new slate of the NAMM Board of Directors. The following NAMM Members were elected for service from 2008 to 2011:

Jon Harris is president of Harris/Teller, Inc., a full-line music products distributor, based in Chicago.
Neil Lilien is president of Meisel Music, Inc., a distributor of band & orchestra products, string and bow instruments, and digital electronic tuners, based in Springfield, N.J.
Lee Paynter is chief operating officer of J.W. Pepper & Son, Inc., a 15-store retailer of print music, music software, computer hardware, concert accessories and music library supplies, based in Paoli, Pa.
Liane Pieffer Rockley is vice president/owner of Rockley Music Co., Inc., a full-line retailer based in Lakewood, Colo.
John Tarpley is secretary of the corporation of Tarpley Music Co., Inc., a four-store, full-line retailer based in Amarillo, Texas.
Joe Vasko is vice president/general manager of Mapex USA, Inc., a drum manufacturing company, based in LaVergne, Tenn.
Robin Walenta is senior vice president of West Music Co., Inc., a six-store, full-line retailer, based in Coralville, Iowa.
Robert Wilson is chairman of Sound Technology Plc., a full-line distributor, based in Hertfordshire, U.K.
NAMM also said goodbye to the following outgoing board Members: Rick Drumm, J. D'Addario & Co., Inc.; Gary Hanser, HHI (Hanser Holdings, Inc.); Bryan McCann, Instrumental Music Co.; Dale Miller, DJ Miller Music Distributors, Inc.; Jerome Murphy, M. Steinert and Sons Co., Inc.; Richard Rejino, Brook Mays Print Music; Dean Samuel, Samuel Music Co.; Denny Senseney, Senseney Music, Inc.
